Africa Radio Convention

Introduction

The Africa Radio Convention (ARC) will be convened by Notice Board Limited, an events management company in Ghana led by Samuel Atta-Mensah, who has behind him years of experience in radio in Africa. The convention is envisaged as the foremost annual event that brings together radio professionals, broadcasting policy makers, media commissions, equipment and technology vendors and investors together under one roof in Africa to discuss the industry and chart its growth path.

What it offers

The ARC provides an important learning and networking space for radio professionals from marketing to programming and engineering and an important link to the evolution of broadcast policy, technology and international best practice in radio. Ultimately the convention will contribute to the search for models that deliver economically viable and sustainable radio towards economic, social and political development in Africa.

Format

The convention will consist of a conference and an exhibition.

The Conference

The conference will address in plenary and smaller groups the contemporary issues impacting the sustainable development of radio in Africa including marketing, programming, technology, financing and broadcast policy in the various jurisdictions in Africa.

Exhibition

The exhibition will provide opportunities for vendors of radio equipment, technology and know-how to showcase them to an Africa-wide audience involving radio professionals and policy makers across the continent.
